The boys and girls had a fantastic Sports Day today. Plenty of activities, ice-cream and hot dogs! A big thankyou to Denis McGrath, Brennans ice-cream and the PTA, headed by Aisling Fitzgerald, for sorting all the food, teas and coffees. Also thanks to Katrina Fitzsimmons for organising the Gaelic tournament and the daddy’s that took charge of the teams, Michael Hamill, Simon Kerr, Michael Kinsella, Gareth McClements, Stephen Keenan and Richard Donovan! Thanks to Mark Canavan for refereeing the matches and classroom assistants Frances Kelly and Miranda Fegan for their help. Thankyou to Anto and Chara for keeping the children entertained and active while waiting for their races! They will all sleep well tonight!
