Primary 1 enjoyed a session with Karen from RSPB as part of the Shared Education with Academy PS. They learnt all about different woodland creatures and their habitats, they found items in nature that matched their colour and texture card, they heard the different bird calls so they can identify a bird by its song and they went on a minibeast hunt. After our friends from Academy went home we made a hedgehog house which our are going to monitor with a night vision camera over a couple of weeks. A big thankyou to Karen for a great outdoor learning experience.
