Rónán in P3 has Coeliac Disease and has to be very careful about what he eats. He made a presentation (with the help of his sister) to teach us about what life with this condition is like and to explain why he can’t eat anything with gluten in it. Rónán did an amazing job and we all learned so much - we even got stickers! The children asked Rónán some very thoughtful questions at the end and he was able to provide even more expert knowledge. Rónán brought lots of gluten-free snacks for us to try and they were yummy. Thank you Rónán for sharing this aspect of your life with us and well done!
