Primary 1 were very busy perfecting their culinary skills by making delicious numicon biscuits during their play based learning time this morning. They measured the flour, sugar and butter using our scales and used the number 5 numicon shape to design their biscuit. We made extra biscuits for us to use during our numeracy lesson after break. The children successfully matched the shapes to each number, ordered them from 1 to 10 and even used them to create & identify number stories within 10. Well done Primary 1!
