As part of ‘Catholic Schools Week’, the Primary 1 children, celebrated grandparents day. They told their peers all about the exciting, adventures they go on with grandparents and boasted about grandparents wonderful culinary skills!
The Children engaged in a Shared reading of ‘Nana in the City’ and ‘ How to Babysit Grandad’.
As a special treat for grandparents, the children recited a poem and made a special card.
Many of the children hope to deliver the card in person. Other children hope to telephone their grandparents for a chat this evening.
The children finished the day by saying ‘The Lord’s Prayer‘ for their grandparents.
