Today we were fortunate to have a visit from NI Water to learn more about how to preserve water.
We have received a free Water Butt and some classes have enjoyed creating new designs for it which we hope to paint soon!
Some classes have also received a free reusable water bottle and a 4 minute shower timer to help save you hot water, energy and money!
Some tips from NI Water...
- Take a shower instead of a bath
- Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth
- Use a watering can instead of a hose
- Turn of dripping taps
- Keep a water bottle in the fridge
- Collect rain water in a water butt
- Only wash clothes when the washing machine is full
