BIG WALK AND WHEEL WEEK

Get set… we’re taking part in Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel 2023, the UK’s largest inter-school cycling, walking, wheeling and scooting challenge. The challenge runs from 20-24th    March and we would love everyone to get involved! 

What do you need to do? 

Encourage your child(ren) to walk, scoot or cycle to school on as many days as possible during the event. 

If you would like to ‘Park and Stride’ to school, two teachers will meet at Joy Street on the Annacloy Road at 8.45am each morning of the week beginning Monday 20th March. If parents can please accompany their children along with teachers on the walk from Joy Street to school for health and safety purposes this would greatly be appreciated.  

 This is a lovely opportunity for families to build physical exercise into their child’s daily routine whilst also cutting down on air pollution and reducing congestion at the school grounds. 

 This is a fun event for all classes to participate in and we are excited for all to take part!
