We had a special assembly today where we revealed our school Logo to celebrate 60 years of Holy Family PS. It was based on the designs of 4 pupils, Caoimhe, Finnian, Orlaith and Anna and will be used throughout the year.
Mrs Pauline Beattie who taught in Holy Family PS for over 30 years and the designer of our original school logo came in to present the prizes to the chosen design winners.
The 60 years of Holy Family committee comprises of Mrs Grainne Rice, Mr Joe Kearney, Mrs Alexandra Casement, Mrs Karanne McGrath, Mrs Laura Gilchrist and Mrs Geraldine Sproule.
We reflected on how special next week is as Palm Sunday is this weekend then it is Holy Week where we celebrate and remember the life of Jesus.
