Assembly Week 21 Friday 20th February
We had a busy Assembly this week.
As part of the preventative curriculum pupils had the opportunity to listen to NSPCC’s “Speak out Stay safe” video. The aim of the programme is to equip children with the knowledge they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect. The session was led by ‘Buddy’ the NSPCC mascot to represent the importance of children using their voice to speak out. Sources of help if ever required were highlighted such as Childline.
Mrs Tatli arranged for Shirley from Fountain Foodbank in Downpatrick to come in and talk about how food donations can help anyone in need. We will have a donation box in school and will be happy to accept non perishable items.
Well done to all of our birthday pupils, best of the week and handwriters of the term. We are so proud of your success.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
