P5 attend a "Discover History" workshop at the Ulster Museum
5th Mar 2015
The children in P5 had the opportunity to learn about the past through seeing and feeling a chainmail and glove made from armour, looking at life in Victorian times, trying on soldiers uniforms from World War 1, the history of Belfast, reconstructing a skull and how both shoes and toys evolved over the last few centuries. They participated in a treasure hunt to find such items in the museum.
