Today we were fortunate to have the chance to see the recently recovered icon of 'Our Lady of Perpetual Help'. The Icon was originally painted by local artist Dan Braniff, who was famed for his work with stained glass. It was considered lost for many years until it was recently discovered by Father Eugene in the church's basement. Paddy Flanagan did a fantastic job restoring the Icon to its former glory and all pupils enjoyed the opportunity to get close to this great piece of art. The icon will be consecrated next tuesay at Confirmation by Bishop Treanor. We thank Father Eugene for making this discovery and giving all our pupils the opportunity to enjoy it.
